When these two ride-sharing companies had there IPOS, we knew that we wanted to invest in one of them. After extensive research, Chopper and I agreed that Uber would be the ride-sharing company of the future. Uber serves not only the United States and Canada but provides service in many cities worldwide, including those in the European Union, Central and South America, Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Uber is also more user-friendly and is in more locations then Lyft. Uber currently controls a majority of the market share for ride-hailing applications. As of March this year, Uber controlled 68% of the market, while Lyft only had 32%. Uber has a brand advantage as well. Uber is also at the forefront of autonomous driving, which will change the way we travel forever. Another positive feature of Uber is Uber eats, which is their food delivery service that is gaining more popularity every day. Overall, Me and Chopper think that our investment in Uber will be profitable over the next 10 years and will be a stepping stone for us to experience Financial Freedom.
